Olajumoke Adenowo is one of the wealthiest architects in all of Nigeria. His full name is Olajumoke Olufunmilola Adenowo. She is an entrepreneur, author, and philanthropist in addition to being a public speaker. She is a powerful force in her industry, which is dominated by men due to the fact that she is a successful architect who has been featured in the most prestigious architectural journal in the world, Architectural Record. Voice of Change is Olajumoke Adenowo’s radio show, on which she teaches young people how to hold their leaders accountable by questioning the right people and asking the right questions. Olajumoke Adenowo was born on October 16th, 1968 in the city of Ibadan, which is located in the state of Oyo. She was raised at Obafemi Awolowo University by her professor parents during her entire childhood. Her mother was a criminology professor, and her father taught history at the university level.
She received her primary education at the University of Ibadan Staff Primary School and her secondary education at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC) in Oyo. She enrolled in Obafemi Awolowo University when she was just 14 years old and went on to earn both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Architecture there. Early Years in Olajumoke Adenowo’s Professional Life
The beautifully planned surroundings of the University of Ife, where Olajumoke Adenowo grew up, as well as her trip to Paris when she was young, were the two primary influences that led to the development of her passion for structures and architecture. She has always been interested in architecture and has always been clear about the direction she wants to take her career. Olajumoke Adenowo began her career as an architect shortly after graduation by working as an assistant at Towry Coker and Associates. She then moved on to Femi Majekodunmi Associates, where, at the age of 23, she was responsible for designing the Federal Ministry of Finance in Abuja. This was a significant accomplishment that allowed her to pursue a variety of new avenues of opportunity.
The Struggles and Triumphs of Olajumoke Adenowo as an Entrepreneur
In 1994, she established her own interior design and architectural firm called AD Consulting, where she now serves as a Principal Partner. Her specialties include architectural design and interior design. Her company is well-known for its bespoke, detailed designs and structures. They design every aspect of any building, from the conception to the fittings, in their own in-house studio. She is the principal partner of AD Consulting and has designed and supervised the construction of over 70 different projects, some of which include buildings for the Nigerian government, Coca-Cola, L’oreal, and banks.
Olajumoke operates a property management company under the same name as his former business, Advantage Energy, which specialized in oil and gas.

Olajumoke has held positions such as Vice President of the Chief Executive Programme at the Lagos Business School and Chairperson of the National Tank Youth Development Committee during her career. She is a member of the board of directors for several companies, including the British School of Lome, Fountain Holdings Ltd., the Centre for Social Reformation, and Leadway Tours & Travels Limited.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Nigerian Institute of Architects, the Interior Design Association of Nigeria, the European Coaching Institute, and the International Mentoring Association, among other professional organizations.
The African Leadership Network, the Global Philanthropy Forum, and the African Philanthropy Forum are all organizations that count Olajumoke as a fellow member.
Olajumoke Adenowo is the host of a radio program called “Voice of Change,” which airs every week on Classic FM. She believes that our leaders should be held responsible for their actions, and she uses the program “Voice of Change” to encourage young people to challenge their leaders by asking the right questions and holding them responsible.
